In case of any conflict among these Terms and the Privacy Policy, these Terms shall govern unless expressly stated herein.

We may update these Terms and Conditions depending on legal innovations and changes proposed in this site. These changes will become applicable to you if you continue to use the website at any time after such changes are posted. We will notify of any changes made to these Terms by changing the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms.
Définitions
Teacher : By teachers, we mean :
• teachers of all public and private schools (working or retired)
• persons fulfilling the following criteria: attached to a school, holding their position, teaching as a main function (primary, secondary, higher education).
Member : means any person registered on the site, whose registration has been validated by our services.
Listing : means any exchange proposal described on the website published by a Member, (exchange of products and services, linguistic exchange, professional exchange).
Nominative information : means in accordance with the French law of January 6, 1978 (law 78 article 32) « any information relating to a physical person identified or who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements ».
We Teachers’s role
The role of We Teachers is limited to the technical provision of the platform.
We Teachers does not intervene in any way in the exchange process between member.
We Teachers does not intervene as an authorized representative of the members to manage their exchanges or as a facilitator of exchanges.
We Teachers is not involved in the management of the listings, in the communication between members or in making the exchange concrete.
We Teachers is not the owner or the manager of the properties displayed on the site.
All the listings published by the members and all the agreements made between member are their sole responsibility.
We Teachers is not required to ensure the accuracy or the updating of the information and/or listings published on the site by the members.
The members are required to update their own listings.
We Teachers : who is it for ?
We Teachers is a network for all teachers.
By teachers, we mean :
• teachers of all public and private schools (working or retired)
• persons fulfilling the following criteria: attached to a school, holding their position, teaching as a main function (primary, secondary, higher education).
Because there are always exceptions we can not anticipate : if you do not completely fulfill these criteria but you should be part of the network, do not hesitate to contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. Rules of conduct
You are only eligible to use the website if you are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
You are responsible for your publications.
You are bound to publish or upload content for which you have the required rights.
You are entirely responsible for the confidentiality and security of your password.
You must not :
• publish any nude (partial or total), sexually explicit, illicit, disparaging, discriminatory, libelous or other inappropriate content
• use this website in order to get or spread information about its members, or to harm other members by any means
• provide false or misleading information
• defame, intimidate, harass, or steal the identity of another person.
• use this site for any illegal or commercial activity
• conduct any illegal activity, or lead someone to conduct an illegal activity.
• download to the site, send by email or by any other means non authorized promotional or advertising materials, misleading information, “chain letters” or any other form of unauthorized solicitation
• download to the site, send by email or by any other means any element containing virus, corrupted files, or computer programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any software or hardware or telecommunication equipment..
We have the ability to cancel membership of any member breaking these rules (with no right to any credit refund or indemnity).

We will inquire into this and will immediately cancel the member’s account and all his listings.
We Teachers validates each registration by checking that your professional email address is operating.
If you do not have any professional email address, we may contact your school (or previous school) to confirm your identity.
We Teachers’ key principle is trust between its members.
We can not be responsible for misleading data that would be given (to become a member to in a listing published).
Before agreeing on an exchange (linguistic exchange, home-swap or any other exchange), take the time to discuss (by email, photo, social network or any other means) to identify your wishes and agree on the conditions of exchange.
Any user of the site agrees to having read and understood the present Terms and conditions, and expressly accepts them entirely, without reserve or any modification.
Becoming a member
Here are the steps to become a member :
1/ Fill in an application form (free of charge)
2/ We check your information and validate (or not) your application
3/ As soon as your registration is validated, you are a member of We Teachers (with FREE OPTION).
You have access to the whole site, to every listing.
You can be contacted by a PREMIUM member but you can not contact yourself.
You can remain a FREE member as long as you can. You can also – at any time – subscribe to our PREMIUM OFFER (12 euros per year, without automatic renewal).
4/ You can post as many listings as you can, according to your taste, and keep looking at the listings published by your colleagues.
5/ When you are interested in an offer, click on « send an email ». Your teacher colleague receives your email and can start exchanging with you.
We Teachers is not informed of the contact of your exchange, it is your privacy.
Nevertheless, we would be happy to know the exchange is going ! Do not hesitate to send us your feedback : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
If the exchange did not meet your expectations, if you consider that a listing published is misleading, please contact us immediately.
We can remove the listing and cancel membership of the member who published it.
We also ask you to be very rigorous when publishing a listing and update content if needed.
Payment and cancellation
Membership to We Teachers is free of charge (FREE OPTION).
We also propose a PREMIUM OFFER : 12 euros per year, to pay by credit card, using of not a Paypal account.
On these 12 euros, we will donate 1 euro to an organization working in favour of childhood and education (the names of the beneficiary organizations and the amount donated will be regularly updated on this site – see “beneficiary organizations”)
There will be no automatic renewal of your subscription. We will warn by email that expiration date is due soon.
At the expiration date, your listings will be removed from the site.
If you renew your registration within a month, your listings will be automatically republished. You do not have to re-enter the data.
After one month without renewal, your listings will be definitely removed from the site.
No refund is possible during the year. Nevertheless, you can unsubscribe at any time, without any possible refunding.
Insurance
Except if We Teachers has been properly informed of the existence of an illegal content in line with current legislation, and did not act promptly to remove it, We Teachers can not be responsible for any content published by its members, in particular the content of the listings, and the behaviour of its members.
All exchanges only result from an agreement between two members. We Teachers’ members act under their only and whole responsibility.
We Teachers can not be held responsible for financial or commercial losses, reputational damage or any direct or indirect prejudice resulting from the use of the site by its members.
In particular, We Teachers can not be held responsible for any damage to property, or any damage suffered by a member following an exchange with another member. We Teachers can also not be held responsible for a damage suffered by a member or third persons while staying at another member’s house.
To the extent that some countries restrict the scope of the exclusion of warranty or liability, it is possible that the above exclusions are not enforceable to members living outside France. So, this limitation of liability will only apply to the members in the following cases : force majeure, fault of a member, fault of a third party.
Notwithstanding the previous paragraph, in case where the responsibility of We Teachers would be demonstrated, the compensation will be limited to the total of expenses the members will have paid to We Teachers in the last twelve months prior to the claim.
Applicable law – litigation
This contract is subjected to the French law. The language of this contract is the French language. In the event of litigation, the French courts will be only qualified.
Language
The reference language for these Terms and Conditions is the French language.
These Terms and Conditions have been translated in English for information only.
Only the French version has a contract value, it shall prevail over the other language texts.
As such, We Teachers can not be held responsible for any translation mistake or contradiction of these Terms and Conditions with the French version.
